WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

Prague Castle, the Royal Garden and the Belvedere. The Royal Garden is a 16th century garden, established by order of King Ferdinand the First. Initially, it was planned to grow trees that are not in Central Europe, therefore, saplings were brought here and specialists of those times carefully monitored plants. There was a lot of trees for which the garden was created, almost under each there is a sign describing when it was planted, as called and a little brief information about the form.

I rewarded @magnata entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Emperor Joseph II, founder of Prague, hospital area on Charles Square, New Town, Prague

Yes, you read well. Josef II. founded Prague. Before him there were four separate Prague cities - Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town and Hradcany. Emperor Joseph united them in 1784 into one city. Enlightened sovereign ... (And he also founded this hospital.)

Swans gathering on the Vltava River under the Vyšehrad Railway Bridge on a sunny spring day. The Vyšehrad Railway Bridge was built in 1872 (and rebuilt in 1901) and it is an important architectural landmark of the area.

The tower of Hláska is a dominant feature and the imaginary heart of the town of Opava. The white 60m tall tower is inseparably linked to the history of the town – it used to serve as a watch tower, and has the municipal astronomical clock and for the announcement of important events, too.

An atmospheric impression taken near the little village square of Konárovice — an as lovely as rural place about sixty miles east of Prague...!...
This photograph was taken in late summer but pretty soon — when the flowers will start growing big just in time for Easter — it should look similar once more :)

Every church is more ornate, more gold-laden than the next. Here, the infant jesus of prague at the Church of our lady victorious can be seen as little foll-like statue dressed in purple. Inside the church is breathtaking and outside also.

It is not necessary to introduce Český Krumlov in any way. Amazing, romantic town on the Vltava. Magnet for tourists from all over the world. I personally come here every year, I always like it. Both day and night is beautiful here. Even the children enjoyed the atmosphere here. Lots of picturesque streets, but crowded with tourists. From dawn to dusk. It could almost be said that Krumlov never sleeps.

We walked over the Charles Bridge every day whilst staying in a hotel just round the corner from the bridge in the Lesser Town. The atmosphere on this bridge is amazing and it attracts large crowds to gaze upon its very imposing statues and tower. Beautiful views up the river also then complete a fab experience. A visit to Prague wouldn’t be complete without it!

A Magnificent Gothic Church in the Old Town Square
One of Prague's most recognisable symbols, the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn dominates the landscape whichever direction you are looking at the Old Town from. Its darkened stone exterior instills a sense of gothic mystery in whoever beholds it.

It is easy to see why the town of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO site! The town is at the foot of the 1240 built castle with so many picturesque buildings and squares. There is a park up in the western part of the city which gives you a spectacular view over the town and all the red tiled rooftops.

St. Bartholomew's Cathedral is a Gothic three-nave cathedral and landmark of the city of Pilsen located in the historical center of the Republic Square. Since 1993, he has also been the cathedral of the bishop of Pilsen. It is a magnificent Gothic building, built during the 14th and 15th centuries.
