Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

Golden sunset over Opava - Kylesovice with the Church of St. John of Nepomuk in the background. Home to almost 60,000 people, Opava is a beautiful city known for stunning architecture and the center and former capital city of the Czech part of Silesia - a historical region of Central Europe.

Impossible to get tired of this architectural wonder.
Total happiness for lovers of old stones because it is one of the few cities to have such a large and totally preserved area of visual pollution of modern architecture.
Everything is harmonious, beautiful romantic.
No cube of concrete, modern buildings or horrors in glasses do not spoil this harmony.
Let's hope that for a long time this architectural oasis will remain untouched by the delirium and ugliness of our current architects.

Love it! You could just wonder around the streets of Prague and be amazed by almost every single building. Great entry for today's contest. Thank you so much and have a great day. Tomas

Thanks for the feature Tomas, glad you liked my photo! :)

Today, I am coming with this shot of the St. Lawrence Church that is located in the little Silesian village of Leskovec nad Moravici. Home to just about 400 people, the village is a gateway to the Silesian Harta - a vast water reservoir and a popular tourist area.

The temple is the Holy Barbara. Now it is the second largest and most important cathedral in the Czech Republic, it is included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. The construction of the cathedral began in the XIV century, simultaneously with the construction of ramparts, and became a symbol of the independence of the inhabitants of the city from the Siedlce Monastery. Funds for the cathedral were allocated by local miners and therefore it is dedicated to the patroness of miners, St. Barbara. Due to lack of money, work was often interrupted for a long time, they were completed only in 1905.
The view of the cathedral is amazing, but the interiors are breathtaking. In addition, on a hot day inside it's so cool!

Prague Old Town Square
Prague old town square is very beautiful especial at night. Many visitors were here and people enjoyed bear, coffee and foods at the old town. The Astronomical Clock and Tyn Church are the most impressive for me.

Prague was built thanks to the fords on the Vltava River. The river was more important. The water from the river was drunk. The mills were here. Heavy costs were being transported along the river, especially the timber Prague needed.
Prague is a city full of greenery thanks to its river. You will see greenary on all photos.

St. Vitus Cathedral
This is by far one of the most beautiful cathedrals i had the opportunity to see. Its outside is spectacular and the inside with its stained glass windows is truly impressive. I'm a fan of stained glass and the colours used here just liven up the place.

Strahov Monastery
It's really amazing!!! This library have a lot of books in an incredible environment. You'll have to pay to see them and if you want to take pictures, you'll pay a little fee. The library has a cordon, so you see the books from a distance, behind the cordon.

This charles bridge is magnificent and should be seen both during the day, at sunset and even at night. very lively with its musicians and sellers, the island that remains under the bridge also deserves a visit.

Sedlec Ossuary
Many people were visiting the church which was decorated with plenty of bones. I felt that the bones decorated beautifully are treated very carefully. Visiting the church of Kutna Hora in the vicinity of less than 15 minutes on foot from the station is easy to visit by taking the bus No. 1 which is passing by very quickly.
