Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

Saint Barbara's Church in background (Czech: Chrám svaté Barbory) is a Roman Catholic church in Kutná Hora (Bohemia) in the style of a Cathedral. It is one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. St Barbara is the patron saint of miners (among others), which was highly appropriate for a town whose wealth was based entirely upon its silver mines.

I rewarded @dimiimp entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Today I managed to take a picture of the river Otava below the confluence of the Vydra and Křemelná, from which this river originates. In historical times, the banks of the Otava River were often used for gold panning. That is why Otava also has the nickname Golden.

Prague main railway station is the largest and most important railway station in Prague in the Czech Republic. Located in Vinohrady, it was originally opened in 1871 and named Franz Josef Station.

Close-up of a part of the Petrin Lookout Tower, a massive 63.5-m tall steel-framework tower located on the top of the Petrin Hill in Prague. Built in 1891, the Petrin Tower strongly resembles the Eiffel Tower and was used as an observation tower and transmission tower. Today, however, the tower mostly serves as a popular tourist attraction.

Prague is associated with the Charles Bridge, one of the main attractions. The bridge looks very majestic, and the panorama on the Vltava is very beautiful. On the bridge itself there is entertainment characteristic of any tourist place — souvenirs of various subjects, artists, musicians. Lively, bright and fun atmosphere.
Most visitors are attracted by the sculpture of St. Jan of Nepomuk, dated 1683. Not one hundred hands touched him for the fulfillment of desire.

I present a large area of former Prague slaughterhouses. The site served its original purpose between 1895 and 1983. It was a very modern equipment in its day. Many industrial innovations have been used here.
At present, there is a very popular market here.

Old Town Square
As in expectations, everything is very colorful. The buildings are all with their own character. You can repeatedly go through the same streets and streets, and still find something new, unnoticed before. The architecture is fascinating.

Church of St. Salvator
The church is beautiful and worth seeing. The location is right next to the Charles Bridge. Part of the church is the Jesuit Klementinum. In the 16th century, the church was completed by a famous Italian designer. It belongs to the early Baroque style of Prague building

Charles Bridge
Definitely a must see for every Prague traveler. The bridge offers something for everyone. Artists, painters, musicians and a great scene for beautiful vacation photos. Nearby are also many great restaurants and bars. However, it can be very busy here during the season.

St. Nicholas Church
Located in the old town square, which by the way is a good stop for rest after visiting the castle, take a drink and start admiring the beauty of this baroque church with beautiful statues throughout.

Cesky Krumlov
A beautiful second town in terms of a tourist attraction in the Czech Republic after Prague. It takes two to three days for a total sightseeing tour, close to everything, virtually the center of the city is surrounded by the Vltava River on all sides. Above the city is the mighty Horní Hrad - the Upper Castle, which offers a beautiful panorama of the city.
