Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.

See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @crazy-andy with the following entry:

For today’s African photo there is one of my favorite shots from that continent. I don’t know exactly why, but I simply like it. We can see cohesion of flora and fauna there. Big African elephant walking through the horde of impalas those graze in savannah.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #55 - winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

Trekking the Himalayas is such a wonderful experience, the views are stunning even breathtaking! It is a physical walk but for the locals, carrying huge bags of rice wearing pyjamas pants while walking in the snow is a routine! I always was amazed by them overtaking me on the way!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #55 - winner announcement!

@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

This one is fresh out of the water. Although the waves were small, it allowed me to get right up close to the impact zone. The water was only about half a meter deep so keeping an eye on the sets was important to avoid being flattened on the reef.

This is a photo from Kampala, Uganda. I took it in a garden near where I was staying. In the background is Lake Victoria. There are some incredible natural colors and creatures throughout this continent and saw plenty of it in Uganda!

Perfect click for a yellow Wednesday... If I do remember in a week time that would be my pick:)

Camel at Sunrise - Sahara, Morocco

Visiting the majestic dunes of the Sahara on the back of a camel was a highlight of my trip to Morocco. Watching the dunes change their colour during golden hour is amazing!

Hot air ballooning in Luxor Egypt over the valley of the kings was amazing! The green fields near the Nile meeting the desert was a sight to see from above.

Thank you so much for your participation and this wonderful entry.

Thank you ☺

Many colossus of Ramses II were erected on the territory of ancient Egypt. The fallen colossus of Memphis, which can be admired here, is one of the most famous.
Found in 1820, It is carved in limestone, and is about 10 m in length, even if it has no feet. Since it was never finished, it is impossible to put him on his feet, which is why he is always exposed in the prone position to the visitor. Some colors are still partially preserved.

Thank you so much for your entry and continued contribution. Have a good one!

Beautiful dunes of fine sand and orange. That it is nice to sit alone at the top of a dune, barefoot in the sand and look at the horizon! And there is life in these dunes: you will spot mouse patches or small beetles in places and see bats flying at night.

What a stunning view! Well done.

Aswan at Dusk

True photographers seems to never sleep, especially while travelling :) Joking of course, but still some truth in those words exist when coming to landscape photography, since most amazing shots you can get while dusk or dawn.
So here we go, early morning in Aswan, the morning when we arrived there by cruise ship from Luxor.
Shot with long tele-photo lens from the upper deck of the ship

Enjoy the scenery :)

Back to my trip through Namibia with this Dead Vlei photo. My cousin was there just yesterday… Ohh I am so jealous, but of course I am happy for her as she is having amazing travel in this gorgeous country.
