7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #55 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!

Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #55 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.
After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Thursday: Europe

This photo is from Indonesia and it represents one of many rice terraces they have. This country is third on the world regarding rice production with 12.16 million hectares, that is 6times larger area that my whole country is big.

These are the late autumn colors of some red woods in East China. Does it look like a Chinese painting? We got up very early to capture its unique beauty. Shrouded in the morning mist and surrounded by mountains and water, it feels like floating in a fairyland on the bamboo raft.
Awesome shot! Well done.
Shanghai Nights at the water
Shanghai, a metropole, Chinese lifestyle with a lot of western influences. The promande is packed at night. Tourists from all over the world, policemen, teenagers, who sell soft drinks and water, sleeping babies, kissing couples and many more. Try to hold on to your belongings and take care that nobody is throwing your camera as well as your tripod into the water. If you have more than one day in the city, try to visit "The Bund" early in the morning to have the place for yourself and at night to enjoy this incredible view. I couldn't believe that some people flew their drones over the crowds and nobody cared. I'm just too scared to try risky things like this 😖

Taichung Cityscape, Taiwan
Taichung in western Taiwan has some amazing architecture. My favourite building is the National Theatre. It does not only offer amazing architecture from the outside and inside, but also has a rooftop with great views over the city!

There are some beautiful islands in the Philippines, idyllic places with palm fringed beaches and amazing surf. This shot is from Siargao in the south, home to one of the best surf spots in Asia.

Exploring the hutongs in Houhai Lake Beijing.
Houhai Lake is a great place for some street food and tourist treasures in Beinjing. There are alot of live music and KTV bars that suround the lake. This photo is of another classic hazy day in Beijing

Trekking the Himalayas is such a wonderful experience, the views are stunning even breathtaking! It is a physical walk but for the locals, carrying huge bags of rice wearing pyjamas pants while walking in the snow is a routine!
I always was amazed by them overtaking me on the way!

Wat Chalong in Phuket, Thailand
This is the biggest, most popular and probably the most beautiful Temple out of 29 Temples here on this big Island. This shot is from inside the Main Temple where you will find dozens of these golden Buddha Statues. It is so much fun to shot from all the different angles.

Seeing the beauty of the Javanese village beach with a different perspective from others, combining the natural beauty of Aceh with the beautiful sunset behind the feet of the landscapers who are preparing to capture images with their respective expertise and I can only devote it with makeshift tools.

Today again coming back to stunning Dubai, UAE. The city of skyscrapers and luxury (at least visual for sure). A cloudy evening at the big square near famous Burj Khalifa.
Actually this is nice black polished cube for sitting near the water. Camera is just placed on the top of it to get unusual reflection
