Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @mibreit-photo with the following entry:

When I was travelling through Australia I spent two days on the Great Ocean Road. The weather was quite grey and I didn't get good light for the first day and a half. And also the last evening didn't look different. I still went down to the Gibson Steps and waited. This light was the reward.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@matajingga Asian Sunday entry:

Bromo at Dawn. The morning atmosphere in the area of Mount Bromo. Bromo is one of the world-famous tourist destinations. I took this photo at 5:35 am Indonesia time. According to local belief, Mount Bromo is the name of the Main God in Hinduism. Active volcanoes in East Java, Indonesia. It has a height of 2,329 meters above sea level. The Tenggerese are native settlers around the mountain, believing that this mountain has magical powers that can protect their lives.

World Heritage - Te Wahipounamu
It's been almost 8 years since we visited New Zealand. This photo was shot near a visitor center between Wanaka and Greymouth. The World Heritage is split into 4 main parts: Westland-National Park, Mount-Cook-National Park, Mount-Aspiring-National Park and Fiordland-National Park. The beauty of New Zealand is just amazing!

Such a sublime part of the world.

The time goes on but images remain creating some great memories. And this one for sure is amazing:).....

Birds eye view above Florence Falls in Litchfield National Park. Litchfield is a rugged and remote park in the wet tropics of the Northern Territory of Australia. The contrast you get in the top end of Australia between the dry scrub land savanna and the lush canyons which cut though it is phenomenal.

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry!

One of the photo I've taken while traveling Australia was this abandoned car perforated with bullet, left out right in the middle of the Nullarbor (the biggest plain in Australia)!

A scenery straight out of a Mad Max movie.

Location: Australia.

The light in this is excellent.

That is quite remarkable! Especially the sun coming through the wreck.

Kata Tjuta at Sunset

While everyone associates Australia's red centre with the Uluru (Ayers Rock), the neighbouring rock formations of Kata Tjuta are less known, but not less beautiful. This is a view on Kata Tjuta from the "Sunrise Viewing Area" at Uluru. While it offers great views on Uluru at sunrise, it is less crowded at sunset, when the beautiful silhouettes of Uluru and Kata Tjuta appear in a beautiful golden light.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

The light and color is fantastic here. I also love the simplicity

Beautiful in its simplicity. I have to get out there one day.

Thank you! I didn't expect much from the red centre, but it is so beautiful there!

Yes indeed, less known but equally beautiful. Thank you for your entry. Tomas

Already monday again :-) Today I show you a photo from my first trip to New Zealand back in 2014. The weather on the North Island wasn't very good and we had to cancle many of our plans. But down in the south-east at Castlepoint a spell of sunny weather was forecast. So we drove down there and it was a great decision.

The Castlepoint Lighthouse with Castlerock in the distance is such a beautiful subject to photograph. And asside from that there's also a beautiful beach and some steep cliffs to explore.

This is a superb shot. Such soft gentle light.

You are killing it with this image today!

I'll try and enter it properly this week ; )

This photo was taken early morning at South West Rocks in New South Wales, Australia. South West Rocks is a beautiful but tiny little coastal town located on the NSW Mid North Coast coast line.

On one of the mornings of our stay there, my son and I got up before the sun and walked down to the beach to watch the sunrise with our camera's in hand. Our morning was magical, not just with the natural beauty surrounding us but spiritually as well. We had the pleasure of witnessing an aboriginal man play his didgeridoo and drum out to a pod of whales who were playing not too far off shore. It was amazing, as he played his music the whales became more active putting on a show of their own. We ended up speaking with the man for at least an hour, he was a real, honest and true man and a lot of what he said resonated with me. The whole experience was incredibly enlightening, something my son and I will treasure.

I love South West Rocks. Can smell the surf ;-)

Thanks @intrepidphotos, yes me too! I'd like to get back there soon. I very much love the country areas around there too, Jerseyville etc. If it didn't flood there I'd happy live down there!!

Thank you so much for your participation once again.

Thank you!! : )

Hello,

In 2012, I traveled up the Australian West-Coast in my little Camper (Mitsubishi Express). I remember it heating up as soon as I went faster then 70km/h. We found these mountains somewhere in the mining regions between Perth and Broome. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact location. Maybe you can help ;) They were called "chinese hats" this is all that I remember. However, I liked the mere space and loneliness out there! Far from reception, internet and stress.

Beautiful. Between Perth and Broome is quite a long way (same distance as driving from London, England to Kyiv in the Ukraine. Would love to know where they were.

I wish I could tell. It must have been somewhere close to Coral Bay, Exmouth.... I forgot^^ Back then, we traveled without a plan. Something looked green on the Map... Hey cool, some national Park. Let's go!

It's lovely to travel without a plan. Seems lost in the modern day of the internet.

That's right. I had a map I found in the car. A few spots were marked as "wow" "cool"^^ We just went with it.

Always a good way. It's rare now for people to go places they have not already seen imagery for. Which changes the dynamic quite a lot.

Young, broke and stupid, but Happy! 211.jpg

What an amazing scenery! Truly wonderful.

Thank you! WA... I will go back some day!

Glasshouse Mountains

We were climbing Mount Ngungun in the Glasshouse Mountains on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. At one point we had a perfect view on the nearby Mount Tibrogargan. It´s always worth to visit the Glasshouse Mountains. Been there twice and it was always good.

Love the glass house mountains . Spent my youth climbing them.

Absolutely love the greenery!

Watarka National Park, home of the Kings Canyon. Put on your best walking shoes and walk the 6 km rim walk. It will take about 3 hours, start early because it can be very hot. Spectaculair views and beautiful nature are the reward.

Nice. Have to get out to Kings Canyon. What time of year did you go?

November. We started at 6 o clock and we ended at 9 and then it was al ready hot. But is was great. Take a lot of water with you.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas

today I woke up in the morning. more precisely when the clock is pointing at 6:15 local time. I am very grateful my efforts to wake up in this morning enough to produce satisfactory results.

the sun shone brightly from the east, the fishermen had just returned from the ocean and their vessel at the same time. Such scenery is characteristic of the view that we can see from the coastal areas of the city of lhokseumawe, aceh.

It never gets old watching this!

Yes indeed. Unfortunately, your entry does not qualify for today's contest.

thank you for the appreciation, I will try to try better on another occasion.
