Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of North America.

See the winner of the last week´s North American Friday @gococonuts with the following entry:

I remember staring in the depths of this landscape gave me such a peaceful feeling. Every inch of this view shows you another color and shape and if you look closely you can see this group of horseriders. I always wandered how they experienced this grandeur since they are right in the middle of it. Bryce Canyon, USA.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

@worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:

Concrete Jungle, Hongkong. I took this shot a few years ago on my stay in Hongkong. The location was on the Victoria Peak (30 min hike for a stunning view) which was absolutely worth visiting.

@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:

The opera House and the harbour bridge view from the botanic gardens during night time. Sydney is such a great city and the rock is the place to hang out. The opera house structure is just breathtaking and so intriguing, it is a great architectural piece!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #46 - winner announcement!

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Could be easily considered as some Antarctica landscape, but the truth is this is frozen coastline of the Baltic Sea, Lithuania after pretty long period of negative temperature. Very low shooting angle and very wide angle lens bringing quite unusual overall perspective for the scenery. Dying from the hot Europeans.. enjoy the COLD!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #46 - winner announcement!

@dali-gis African Wednesday entry:

Douz-Tunisia. Sahara desert: +40 heat, sand, wind and desert ships! It is here that tourists come to meet the sunset and ride a camel. We, too, did it, but only without any use. Independently organizing a trip to the Sahara, we traveled all tourist places by our friendly company on one car.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #46 - winner announcement!

@travelingstories European Thursday entry:

This photo was taken by us @travelingstories in one of the most beautiful places in this world of ours: Lagoa das Sete Cidades, in the island of São Miguel, Azores - right in the middle of North Atlantic. The islands of this archipelago are of volcanic formation, the reason behind the fertile soils and strong greens, as well as colorful lagoons like this one...

Traveling is wonderful and I love doing it every chance I get. But sometimes, wonderful photographs can be taken right at home. I took this sunrise photo in Hollywood last week on the fire escape of my building. One of my favorite things to do at home is have my morning coffee and watch the sunrise (and of course, get a photo or two of it)!

Picturesque landscape of the Vinales National Park, Cuba. Found in the Pinar del Rio Province in the eastern part of the country, the Vinales National Park is one of the most beautiful and visited national parks in Cuba.

Great colors! Thank you so much for your participation.

Jump In!

This incredible waterfall is found nestled in the depths of the Grand Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation. Mooney Falls has a drop of 190' feet. I can see Willow Jon down near the bottom left side of the falls ready to jump into the powerful thundering, pool below. AZ, USA.

Oh, I definitely would:)

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park is a beautiful park in southern Oregon. While most of the tourist go to the lake, which is amazing, the surrounding land is stunning as well and there are many hiking trails throughout the park. In fact the Pacific Coast Trail runs through the park. See original post

That is an amazing shot and stunning nature. Well done.

Thank you very much for the compliment and picking it for this week!

My today’s photo is from my recent trip to USA. It is from National Park Arches in Utah. Maybe anyone knows from where exactly was it taken? A small hint is that it is from the start of one trail in this park, now you just have to guess of which trail 😄

Nice Friday to all of you guys!

Great as always!

Taken on a recent trip to the Rockies. I would consider this place the most beautiful sight of them all. Moraine lake is so popular, it took us 5 tries and several years to actually be able to get in to view. Nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks (near Lake Louise), rock flour gets carried into the lake when the glaciers melt giving the lake it's amazing rich blue green color when the sun shines on it. Also pretty amazing to see snow when it's +30 celcius.

I upvote moraine lake related stuff too.
:)

Absolutely stunning place, wish I could go kayking there myself.

Lake Tahoe rocks!
Screen Shot 2018-08-10 at 8.15.30 am.png
Ah North America, the northernmost part of the Americas. In the middle of this, towards the west, out near the Pacific in Northern California (and Nevada too) is one of the most beautiful lakes on Earth - Lake Tahoe. Here the pink sunset (#nofilter) is enhanced from fires. Volcanic rocks give insight into the history here as well. Enjoy!

This is also on my blog.

Fabulous shot, thank you so much for sharing with all of us!

Thank you! Awesome posts and the quality is going up and loads of amazing photos everyday!

Monument Valley

This photo is from 2009 when I was travelling the amazing Southwest of the United States with my parents. Monument Valley certainly was one of the most amazing parts of this trip: This was our view from the campground that we were staying at with our RV.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

There are many amazing locations across the US and this is definitely one of them. Thank you!

Lake Fulmor, California

Only an hour and a half from Los Angeles, the San Bernardino National Forest offers a much needed break from city life. No need to stray too far off the road, Lake Fulmor is a day use area just near Highway 243 - no backpacking required!

Thank you so much for your participation and this wonderful entry. Have a great weekend. Tomas

Thanks Tomas! Happy weekend from Thailand!

The Oregon Coast never fails to show me something beautiful.

Only an hour ish away from our home, we visit often.

To be honest, I’m not big on the sand aspect of the beach

Why do you go to the beach if you don’t like sand?

Because I like the ocean.

Oh, you like to swim?

Uh... well no.

🤦🏽‍♀️

The coast is beautiful, cliff sides, the ocean (obviously), the trees, etc.

When this particular photo was taken, @idkpdx & I were pulled over on the side of some road.

We looked out and the scene didn’t look like Oregon.

Almost like we had transported to another continent. It was a very interesting feeling.

What a beautiful coastline and great entry. Thank you so much. Have a great weekend. Tomas
