Officials of the Chittagong Port Authority said that the country's tourism industry has been moving around the area between Cox's Bazar and Teknaf. Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEJA) has already established special economic zones in several areas of Teknaf sub-region. In that light we have taken initiative to construct this station in the mouth of the Rejukhal.
Cox's Bazar Tour Operator Association (TOAK) President Rezaul Karim said the construction work of the C-Cruz terminal was almost done. Now there is no domestic passenger ships that can directly reach Cox's Bazar. It will add new dimensions to the tourism industry of Cox's Bazar.
