Sebuah Kota akan dikatakan baik jika tertata dengan teratur, salah satu indikator kota yang baik adalah mempunyai tatanan kota yang rapi, tersedianya fasilitas publik dan transportasi, yang baik jika menyediakan berbagai alternatif transportasi untuk masyarakat.

Jenis transportasi publik yang tersedia di sebuah kota mempunyai beberapa alternatif. Seperti bus, taxi, kereta api, kapal penyeberangan untuk daerah kepulauan. Hongkong merupakan salah satu kota yang menyediakan berbagai jenis transportasi publik, mulai dari jenis termoderen samapai dengan yang klasik.

Salah satu jenis transportasi klasik yang menjadi ikon Kota Hongkong adalah kereta api dalam kota atau dikenal juga dengan Metro. Kereta klasik Metro menggunakan aliran listrik, dengan jumlah gerbong sebanyak 2 gerbong dan bertingkat seperti Bus.

Perlakuan khusus bagi senior citizen dan anak-anak membuat saya bertambah kagum terhadap pemerintah Hongkong. Bagi anak-anak dan senior citizen hanya membayar setengah harga.
