Haunted places in Romania: #1 Hoia-Baciu Forest

This is my #1 post of a ''Haunted places in Romania'' series, and today I would like to show you the Hoia-Baciu Forest
Every country has its legends and myths, and our country does not really miss them.
Wherever you go in Romania you will discover a lot of legends and places filled with mystery. Whether or not, the myths are passed on from one generation to another and they are always interesting.

The forest near Cluj-Napoca has long been known for the mysterious happenings that take place here and has even been cataloged as a gate to another dimension. Called the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania, the forest is one of the most active areas of the world in terms of paranormal phenomena.

The legends would have appeared, apparently, after a shepherd disappeared into this forest along with his 200 sheep, and no one was able to find either him or any of the flock. It was just the first mysterious disappearance that took place in this forest. Now, both locals and tourists avoid the area, being a destination reserved for those in the pursuit of adrenaline.

Locals say that those who enter the forest suddenly have strange nausea or strange pains that leave visible traces on their skin while they always feel like someone is watching them from behind the trees.

And it's not just about impressions.
Inexplicable phenomena were also captured by cameras: suspended objects in the air, shadows, strange shapes, silhouettes. Some talk about aliens, others about ghosts. It is certain that something strange happened in the Baciu forest, which affects not only humans but also the plants in the area, which suddenly dry or change their appearance inexplicably. Most of the trees are twisted at trunk or in an unusual shape
