The RRS Discovery
The RRS Discovery docked in front of the Victoria and Albert Musem in Dundee, Scotland.
The Discovery was first launched back in 1901 as part of the British National Antarctic Expedition (AKA Discovery Expedition) for a three-year mission to the Antartic with Captain Scott.
The V&A was recently opened and was part of a regeneration project for Dundee. Unfortunately, it's not as good as the V&A in London but it is a step in the right direction for Dundee. This city needs a lot more jobs and a long term strategy but I hope that the years of underfunding and mismanagement are behind of Dundee.
I will be in Scotland for most of February but will try to post a few pictures about some of the sites around Dundee. Let me know what you'd like to see.
