Pervomayskoye. General views

The village of Pervomayskoye is located in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region on the riverside area. Even doubly behind the riverside! To get to the village, you must first overcome the Northern Dvina River, and then the Luza River. There is also an alternative route where you still have to cross the River Yug. Fortunately, the roads are good in summer and in winter. Only one small problem - the lack of transport accessibility in the offseason, when it is impossible to install floating pontoons.

Life in Pervomayskoye, even in modern, depressing village realities, is quite rich. A lot of children come for the summer to the grandparents.

Here are just a single store was closed... but a car shop arrives.

Attention is paid to the village and former locals who have become entrepreneurs. At their expense, a playground and a new temple were built. About the opening and consecration of the new church, I will tell in a separate post, but for now about the ordinary village life.

Previously, there was a large school and kindergarten. It is not difficult to guess that now all this has not been working for a long time.

The village of Pervomayskoye was once the center of a whole rural settlement, but then they all merged.

It is strange that Pervomayskoye in official sources is listed as a village, and not a settlement. In theory, the status of the settlement is indicated by all signs: the presence of a church, the center of a rural settlement, the declination of the very name of a settlement.

The village itself consists of a private sector and multi-flat one-storey block houses. It is good at any time of the year.
