Striga. State of Agriculture
In the village of Striga, agriculture was once well developed and was a large state farm. To date, there are only a few functioning cattle yards. The remaining buildings and structures related to agriculture are abandoned.
Along the road there are only skeletons resembling elevators, granaries, weight control, etc.
Five years ago, I was still walked on a completely intact, but no longer working construction. Farm buildings are decrepit and go into oblivion with high speed.
What belongs to a person, for example, a dwelling abandoned house, will stand for a long time and will not disappear soon. What belongs to the state - in 5-10 years will disappear completely from the face of the earth and there will be no trace! Each brick will picked up.
I remember how while serving in the army, they disbanded the near military unit. In less than a year, the functioning unit turned into ruins.
In the village of Striga there is still the river Striga, on the bank of which stands the church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. In the church in Soviet times there was a repair shop for agricultural machinery, which is not difficult to guess from the tractor details, hanging posters with diagrams, the smell of oil and diesel inside the room.
