The geological outcrop of Aristovo

The geological outcrop of Aristovo is a natural monument in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region in the area of ​​the village of Kuznetsovo and Aristovo, on the right bank of the Northern Dvina river. The protected area of ​​about 50 hectares. The territory of the monument of nature is a strip 500 meters wide along the river bank.

Something pulled me to the steep shores. And again, no luck with the sun! The heavenly star again went behind the cloud at sunset.

The sun was a little higher, and even through the clouds.

The steep coast here is much higher than in Karasovo.

On the river there is a place for laundry. This is a common hole in a frozen river, which is fenced for security.

The trail of a snowmobile is quite dense, you can not be afraid to fall.

In the opposite side of the sunset are very soft colors.

It is already difficult to understand whose traces: local dogs or wild animals.

Above you can see a rift in a steep bank. They found the remains of some ancient lizard.

And on the opposite side, the colors are completely different!

Great place to admire the beautiful view!

In winter, only I managed to sit on this bench. No one else dared to walk here - after all, there is snow above the knee!

The steep coast becomes less dangerous in winter, as deep snow keeps and does not allow to go into the abyss.

Twilight began to envelop the surrounding landscape, it would soon be completely dark.
