Tongariro Alpine Crossing New Zealand

It is already two years ago that I moved to NZ. It was also two years ago that I drunk beers with my mates. 8 weeks ago they called me with the suprice that they are keen to visit us, to drink beers and to enjoy this beautiful country. They rented a big campervan and are now in NZ.

One thing they definitely want to do and that is the Tongariro Alpine crossing. The track was closed for two days this week but yesterday the weather forecast was perfect. We were really lucky with the weather as you can see on my photos.

The track is really heavy and is almost 20 km, you also have to climb a lot, but when you see the views you are really happy that you did it.
