Where the Maori spirits leave New Zealand

Cape Reinga means Cape underworld, this is the most spiritual place in NZ for the Maori. This is the place where the spirits of the death human avatars leave the country. It is the northernmost point of the North Island.

It is a really nice place to visit. We did a bus trip from Paihia, what makes it more relax. We did a complete trip to 90 mile beach, Cape Reinga, the sand dunes and the kouri walk in Puketi forest. A long day, but really worth it.
