My First Post

Hello steemians! :)

I'm new here and this is my first post on Steemit, so I figured that I should introduce myself.

I'm Charlotte.
A Norwegian girl trying to find my place in this beautiful, messy world.
Currently on a mission, on a spiritual journey, chasing my dreams.

I used to work as a hairdresser in my hometown in Norway, but I always had that little voice in my head saying that this couldn't be ''it''. I wanted something more, something exciting. I didn't knew what I wanted, so I went travelling.

I saved up a bunch of money, quited my job and went on my first backpacking trip in 2013. I clearly remember the first moment when I knew that I had made the right decision. It was on a bumpy busride in Thailand. I looked out the window, seeing the landscape go by and I suddently felt a overwhelming feeling of freedom. I've been chaising that feeling ever since.

The Israel National trail (shvil Isreal) was the first long-distance hiking trip I did. Going from the green forest in north to the dry desert in south. 50 days and 1100 km later I had lost 10 kg and gained a lot of strength I never had before. This was the beginning of my journey towards a healthy lifestyle.

In nature I'm my most autentic self and I try to live a simple life with less focus on meterialism. For exercise I do bodyweight training and plantbased foods has also been a big game changer for me on my fitness journey.
