RE: Hiking Penon de Ifach, the Gibraltar of Costa Blanca

in #travel5 years ago

Very thorough and incredibly beautiful post.
I had read about this place, but had not seen images of it. I had read more about Gibraltar, but ironically never bother to search for images. It is certainly curious and just beautiful.

Looks like some gods just dropped big rocks there after a fight.

What has been done around this areas in terms of urban development is just amazing.

My countrymen, the more romantic ones, tend to talk about venezuela as the most beautiful country in the world and all that crap, but we have done so little to help people enjoy our natural resources. Even for us, locals, it is nightmarish to visit any of our famous natural monuments. Nothing is easy, or clean, or safe; noting is provided, you are on your own.

I think that beautiful beaches, mountains, or forests stop being attractive the moment the whole surroundings stop being friendly.

I liked all the details you have provided for potential travelers or just audience in general. Very interesting.
The photography was just mesmerizing.
I loved the view and perspective in the photo under "Parking at the Natural Park..."
And, of course, the seagull was super cool. Looks like it was posing.
