THE SECOND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINDIAN STAGE

in #travel7 years ago

Hello!!! This is the second article about my indian travel ! After Bangalore i went to Maysor, where there is the palace of Tipu Sultan! Before we went to the famous palace we went to a temple on a mountain. This wasn't a very famous temple but in this way we could see the rite inside the temple. Infact we discovered that in the small temple, where there are fewer tourist, every people can go inside the temple and can partecipate at the tipical ritual. Instead in very big and famous temples no hindui people cannot enter in the temple and in this way they cannot see religius reality, the most beautiful and tipical indian shade.
So, in this temple we could go inside and we took part at this rite. Actually the ritual consisted of get in line to get to the Brahmin (a kind of priest).
The Brahmin was at the center of the structure next to a statue of the God to whom the temple was dedicated. As soon as the Brahmin was reached proposing you a little flame. I discovered at that moment that the fire was seen as a source of energy. In fact, all people placed their hands on this flame and then sprinkled their face. I never thought of nature could really be seen as a source of energy... we say .. spiritual! I never thought at home to collect me by the fire in order to steal energy and cover me with it. Instead all of them were eager to cover themselves of this energy and thanked giving an offer which could be fruit or flowers. It was a very beautiful experience and it isnt the last becouse after this temple we went to other small temple for cover us with the godness fire.
The rite finished with the famous point on the front. The BraHmin put it on your front and so you can exit by temple. I knew that this point simbolise a lot of things and it is in many forms.
He can rapresent , on a woman, that she is married. When it is used in a religius ritual it can be a poin or three vertical lines or three horizontal lines. When it is a point It can represent the chakra or it can indicate that you have just received a blessing inside the temple. When in front of people you can see three verical lines this means they are devotees to Vishnu, instead three horizontal lines it means that are Shivas' devotees.

After this temple we went to Tipu Sultan palace. We cannot take photo inside but it was really majestic and inside there were rooms covered with gold where the Sultan welcomed the guests.

Finally i want to show you very strange indian tree...
They are huge and their branches are transformed into roots making the really gigantic tree
