In the course of our trip to Asia, several weeks ago, we had to fly not less than ten times! During some of these flights I recorded videos of takeoff and landing.
Today I'll show you how we took off in daylight with Qatar Airways in Frankfurt and landed in Doha at night (from where we flew on to Jakarta).

Im Verlauf unserer nun bereits einige Wochen zurückliegenden Asienreise mussten wir nicht weniger als zehnmal in ein Flugzeug steigen! Während einiger dieser Flüge nahm ich Videos von Start und Landung auf.
Heute zeige ich euch, wie wir noch bei Tageslicht mit Qatar Airways in Frankfurt starteten und nachts in Doha landeten (von wo aus wir dann weiter nach Jakarta flogen).

Es ist immer wieder schön, die Welt von oben zu sehen, wenn erst einmal die nervenaufreibenden Check-in Formalitäten erledigt sind.
Ich kann mich noch sehr gut an die Aufregung bei meinem ersten Flug erinnern. Dieses Kribbeln in der Magengegend beim Abheben und dann das erste Mal die Erde aus der Vogelperspektive sehen - ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl!
Ja, es immer wieder erstaunlich (bis beängstigend) mit welcher enormen Kraft man beim Start in die Sitze gedrückt wird, wenn plötzlich der Schub der Triebwerke einsetzt.

Dtube has improved, I just wonder, if there is any possibility to save videos long-term using a decentralized solution? I want to be able to watch some precious videos still many years later ...
Sometime cabin crews do not allow us to take photos within the aircraft. Was it permitted in the Qatar airways or you recorded it secretly?

As far as I remember(!) in this flight (I flew so often) mobile phones were allowed to be used in flight mode. I have to admit that I also used the mobile phone camera during some other flights when it was not explicitly stated that the usage in flight mode was allowed.

Actually, I had to check the tickets, as I don't remember the exact time, but I think it was about 6 hours from Frankfurt to Doha and another 7 hours then from Doha to Jakarta ...
