Day 2 in Saigon part 2
Pho for my dinner
The heavy taste of the soup with the fresh raw vegetables somehow blend very well. I love eating raw vegetables rather than cooked vegetables, just because it is more crunchy when the vegetables are raw. Not really a big fans of cooked vegetables except a few vegetables that I like. The pho I had in Saigon was amazing!
Hang out at the old shop drinking Ca Phe while waiting the rain to stop
In Saigon, you will see the old shop and modern shop which located side by side, selling foods and drinks. The old shop comes with plastic tables and stools which half of the size of a regular table and chair. Behind the old shop is where the business owners and family stay, you will see their television and family members sitting inside.
This is where all the preparation and cooking done, definitely not the typical restaurant/kopitiam in Malaysia

pho looks lovely! we are big fans of banh mi too, the last time our team went to Saigon/Hanoi, we have just been hunting for banh mi stores.
Yeah, I have pork banh mi and it is delicious!
I'm gonna give you a small tip, that kind of soup is not really beneficial for Yoga practitioners 🙂
