Monks' life in Hang Cong pagoda, An Giang, Vietnam
Hi there,
What do you do when you are stressful in your life?!!!
For so many Vietnamese people, they choose to go to the church or the pagodas.
These places are so peaceful to help us balance our life and reduce stresses!
I wanna share with you all a very amazing pagoda in An Giang province, Vietnam - it is named Hàng Còng pagoda!
A monk and his friend come back with the food after go for begging
The monks in this pagoda are Khmer people. All of Khmer men have to go to the pagoda at least 3 months for expressing the piety with their parents and they can stay in the pagoda as long as they want to. Khmer women will not get married with a man has not gone to pagoda! That is very interesting custom of Khmer nation.

A lunch of the monks
In 9 AM everyday, the monks will go for begging to get the food for their lunch. It is so interesting because the Khmer monks will not have dinner, they just drink for dinner!
Two monks go for begging with the food box in their hands.
