Are you scared of heights? Would you walk the El Caminito del Rey?

I watched this video to the end and the sensation is hard to describe. I felt a weird sensation in my lower back and it seemed close to a mild panic. The technical term is called "acrophobia".

The El Caminito del Rey is a narrow pathway constructed between 1901 to 1905 in Spain. It rests on steel pins embedded into the walls of a cliff face in El Chorro, Spain. The pathway started crumbling and after some deaths, was closed and a newer safer pathway constructed.

This walkway is often referred to as the scariest hike in the world and is still frequented by adventurous tourists every year.

As the walk progresses higher, the crumbling areas become more frequent and in some cases the concrete has disappeared completely.

Have a look and comment on how you felt!

Para gente muy valiente o loca! (hope this came out correctly!)

Resteemed your article. This article was resteemed because you are part of the New Steemians project. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gaman/new-steemians-project-launch

The El Caminito del Rey looks completely different now as it has been renovated. It is completely safe and professionally secured. Not scary at all.
Example picture showing walkway in it's current state (picture taken in May 2017, note the solid metal balustrade on the side along it):

Wow its even better now...way safer, thank heavens

Looks like an interesting way to use Adrenalin!( I see on the Video they spelled it like a Chevrolet LDV!)

It is @awgbibb. Yes I noticed that too. I nearly spelled it the same way!!
