It is the beginning of November. Christmas is exactly 7 weeks away from now. Steemfest starts this week, and for absolutely no reason my mind is drifting towards a next trip already.
This was my Christmas last year
Yeah also working, because you know....us healthcare people work when you chill. But apart from working we organized a Christmas boattrip in the Caribbean seas with some friends. If ya look good you can even see the Christmas hats on some people while cruising over the Anguillian channel.
The contrast of azur blue seas and Christmas how it is here in Switzerland can not be bigger, and for some reason that is giving me tremendous itches. I don't even know what triggered my brain already to think so far ahead, but the fact is..the trigger triggered.
And because this will be the first Christmas in I think 10 years that I am not spending in the hospital, I am feeling the need to go somewhere. 'Spend Christmas with your family, Karin!!' Yeah I know I could, but I can also see them the week before or after and for us all that is the same, as long as we see each other (right mom??...wink wink)
I have the feeling that in about a month I will be craving for some rays of sunlight. I am currently more pale than Caspar the friendly ghost and it reflects on my spirit.

So at the moment the little angel in me is resisting the need to look at tickets to warm, sunny countries for some vitamine D, and the little devil on the other shoulder is saying 'F*k it, K, go for it!!'

I'm thinking of Christmas too and want to set up the tree for the first in years. But first sinterklaas 😊.

Uhhh sunny spot might potentially be a canary island for some sea and wind OR some other in 3 hour flyable place where the sun shines hahah
No specific party plans yet for christmas and new year myself.
I don't plan much too far in advance ;)
But holidays on the beach sounds excellent.
Well same for me normally! Apart from that I always worked on holidays I usually dont plan too much ahead, and i like that!
Also this xmas boattrip last year came up like 3 days beforehand..for me that is perfectly short by enough!
