Nordwand, or the north face, from this peak in the Swiss Alps is a legendary destination among mountain climbers.

Even so, The Eiger is a well-known mountain with its dangers.

First climbed in 1938, the northern part of The Eiger always challenged the climbers.

The mountain is known for its technical difficulties and dangerous rocky avalanches.

Difficulty and danger levels The Eiger makes this mountain nicknamed Mordwand, or Murder Wall (Walls of Killer).
