Winter in Riga, Latvia ❄️

My husband and I were in Latvia during the arctic outbreak dubbed ‘Beast from the East’. This was when a polar vortex wreaked havoc across Europe as it transported a wave of cold air from Siberia. Despite that, we loved Riga so much - everyone was friendly and spoke English or Russian. We stayed an extra week, even though It was consistently below -10 degrees. I miss these two weeks in Riga and I really look forward to returning there.
