Summer trip is all we deserve, no exception with that. You may be active or not, anything can be of your control as long as you know how you'll gonna lit up and ignite the fire within you. Start your journey on wondering how your soul can be healed and/or energize.

Vacation does not only signify relaxation, it does also remind you that we have human tendency to heal ourselves by connecting to nature and to people. Travel as long as you can, enjoy as long as you have the fire and live as long as you have the reasons to laugh and love.

A simple weekend turned into a priceless moments for a group of people that longs for a out-of-work bonding. I am with the ever coolest workmate and friends that I am with since 2014 down to 2017. An all out vacation can suffice how we wanted to escape with all the stresses brought by work, school, emotional or whatsoever issues and stresses. It was totally an awesome journey to say that I just spent 500 pesos or $10 which counts for that two day vacation at Badian, Cebu.

Though, a friend who has a house nearby the visited place is an advantage plus a car would be a great benefit for all which of course can lessen the burden for the transportation and accommodation cost (which we had).

The First Destination: LAMBUG Beach

Lambug Beach is a public beach located at Badian, Cebu. It is known for its white sand beach and just around 25 minutes away from the center of Badian. From public market, you can ride on a tricycle for only 25 pesos only (though may also vary in terms of the agreement with the driver). Along the ride, you will enjoy a breathtaking scenery of the the green nature. A varied view will hunt your eyes off the road and will keep you mesmerized with the nature's beauty.

Making fun and enjoying the moment and resources made it more memorable. With the sand on top of the body made me look like a child playing while the parents are out. Funny games were carried out and food trips were present (and surely will never be absent. Food is life!). Everyone on that place made themselves comfortable with the weather and the wavy behavior of the sea makes it more challenging. With the whirl of the wind grasp our faces and body, it allows us to sooth the natural care of the place.

YEAH!

Of course, I grabbed the opportunity to enjoy shooting with the place itself. With the wavy effect of the sea as it reaches the shoreline, you can totally appreciate it. And I did not waste the chance to unwind and hold myself still on my self-reflection. The place did not just give me a worthwhile moment but also a chance to reflect everything that I chose to leave behind the city- my stresses and problems.

We left at the place with exhaustion but with the invaluable experiences especially to me who was able to have a deep thoughts during that day.

The Second Destination: KAWASAN Falls

Kawasan Falls is one of the tourist spots located in Visayan Region of the Philippines. From the church at Badian, Cebu, you need to trek a 10-15 minute walk to reach the first falls (photo at the right, originally taken). It is somehow crowded because of the lot of locals and foreign tourists who chose to stay and be relieved by nature's power. From the first falls, a 3-5 minute walk can reach to the second falls. A much smaller than the first one. Yet, the place is accommodating and not so crowded. It has also cottages same with the first falls that you can rent for 500 pesos.

After an hour of enjoying the second falls, we proceeded to the third falls that is farther. With a 5-10 minute walk, you can reach on the destination. Yet, the journey to the third falls is not as easy like the other two. Steeper and slippy road awaits you. If you will not be mindful enough with the precautionary measures - Be alert and take care.

After how many minutes of a challenging hike, we were able to reach the third falls. The beauty of the nature never ceases on giving me a jaw dropping moments and breathtaking reactions. Like its "Woah", the sound of the huge drip of the water gives a thrill on the place.

After a long journey, we went home with a bigger smile on our face though we were so tired on the trip we undertake but that does not hinder us to consider that it was a great vacation.

It was a worthwhile vacation not just because we were able to have a grasp of the nature but also the other bond that we have with each other. No priceless materials can be compared with a priceless and invaluable joy.
