BOOM! We took a motorbike ride up from Saigon to the beach town of Mui Ne Vietnam. It's one of the closest beaches and tourist destinations to the big city, and we were looking for somewhere to ride. WELL it became all worth it when we stumbed upon the Ostrich Riding in Mui Ne. Amazing.
You can sign up for the $5 Mui Ne jeep tour at your hotel (we stayed at Mui Ne Backpackers), which includes a trip to the mui ne beach, ATV riding on the white sand dunes ($20), sandboarding on the red sand dunes ($2 for a sled), and Fairy Stream which is a cool red sand stream with some crazy desert geography. But the tour didn't even mention the ostriches so it was a total surprise. I'd heard about this being in vietnam but didn't know it was in Mui Ne so as you can see i was fucking stoked!
