Holiday in Iran?/Urlaub im Iran? [ENG&GER]
Since Iran has been on the news so often recently and the currency value is dropping it probably should be cheap to book a holiday in Iran at the moment.
Da Iran momentan so oft in den Nachrichten erscheint und der Wert des Geldes abrutscht ist es bestimmt momentan billig ein Urlaub da zu buchen.
I was in Iran 4 times already since the country is beautiful and the people are nice.
Ich selber war im Iran 4 mal da das Land sehr schön ist und die Leute sind gut drauf.
In Iran there are many craftsman, so it is possible to buy cheaply valuable things (such as a gold pocket watch for 100€) that cost alot of money abroad (2000€ in this case). If you have a good eye for such things this may even pay back your Iran trip.
In Iran gibt es sehr gute Handwerker wodurch man viele dinge kaufen kann (wie eine Golduhr für 100€) die im Ausland viel mehr kosten (2000€ in diesem Fall). Wenn man ein gutes Auge für solche dinge hat könnte ein Iran Urlaub sogar geld machen.
Esfahan Yazd and Shiraz are wonderful destinations. You should not plan too much time seeing Theran.
Esfahan, Yazd und Shiraz sind sehr sehenswert. Für Theran sollte man im Urlaub nicht zu viel Zeit einplanen.
Maybe check out aswell the shaking towers. There are some towers where you can actually climb on them to shake them your self.
Vielleicht die wackelnden Türme sehen. Auf manchen kann man klettern und selber wackeln.
I was last time 11 years ago in Iran. The people there really liked Germany, but for the wrong reason. People liked Germany because of Soccer, BMW, Mercedes and because the second world war targeted Jewish people (who would later make the sate of Israel) and among many countries also Americans. Also if you are British I would not recommend you to go to Iran. If people think you are British just say you are "Aleman" and people will say you are very welcome here. My knowledge of the view points might be outdated as I have not been there in a while.
Ich war zuletzt vor 11 Jahren im Iran. Die leute da mochten Deutsche sehr wegen schlechten Gründen. Sie mochten Deutschland für Fußball, BMW, Mercedes und weil im 2ten Weltkrieg wir viele Juden (die später Israel gründeten) und Amerikaner getötet haben. Wenn man fragt woher ihr kommt einfach "Aleman" sagen und ihr werded herzlich wilkommen. Vielleicht haben sich die meinungen der Leute wärendessen geändert.
Iran is not the only country with a portion of people that liked the second world war. In former soviet union countries people have told me "if hitler would have made it, we would not have had Stalin (that killed more people than Hitler)".
Man kann auch nicht sagen dass sie die einzigen sind die den 2ten Weltkrieg gut fanden, da viele in ehemals Soviet Union Ländern oft sagen "hätte Hitler es geschafft hätten wir Stalin nicht (der mehr Leute tötete)".
I don't share their view about WW2 but I can understand their Anger better than I understand the Sanctions. If we would treat all countries equally then Israel would have been Sanctioned for multiple reasons (join the BDS movement, Boycott Divest Sanction) such as multiple human rights violations and an Apartheid like state against Palestinians, illegal settling/demolishing in Palestinian Territory and (oh wow what a coincidence) Nuclear Weapons. Soon maybe even USA and Russia join in making nuclear weapons as they are about to exit the INF treaty.
Ich teile zwar nicht ihre Ansicht über den Weltkrieg, aber Ihre Wut kann ich jedoch besser verstehen als die Sanktionen. Wenn wir alle Länder gleich behandeln würden wäre Israel aus mehreren Gründen (tretet BDS Protestbewegung bei und boykottiert Israel) sanktioniert für Menschenrechtsverletzungen und Apartheid-ähnlicher Staat gegenüber Palästinenser, illegale Siedlungen und Zerstörung deren Siedlungen in Palästinensischen Gebiet und achja Atomwaffen. Bald steigen vielleicht auch Russland und USA aus dem INF Vertrag aus.

Iran ist sicherlich ein schönes Land. Und nichts was du schreibst ist falsch. Aber in Israel werden Menschen nicht an Kränen aufgehängt oder auf andere einfallsreiche Arten für Nichtigkeiten vom Staat ermordet. Es gibt oft nicht gut und böse sondern nur das kleinere Übel... Das Leben ist nicht einfach.
