A bridge made over 100+ years

in #travel6 years ago

To fully appreciate it, it must be done in the morning before 9am (after 9am, the flow of tourists and merchants installed on the sides make the visit almost impossible). The view of the castle is splendid, but you should know that the statues are only copies (the originals are at the Lapidarium). The Charles Bridge, which was designed by architect Petr-Parlais, was completed in the 15th century, spending more than 100 years. In the Gothic style, there are 30 saints statues on the bridge. From the West Bank it is said that good luck will come when you touch the relief part of the 8 th St. Jan Nombotsky statue stand on the left side, counting from the West Bank. I overslept but I heard that the morning mackerel and Charles bridge are the best. I can be careful with street performers, but I think that it is better to be careful with valuable items because it is crowded. I have heard of Smetana's "Moldau" on this bridge as I recommend it to those who have experienced Prague. It is exceptional.
