Travel Addicts Anonymous
There I was sitting in near the window at something like 30,000 feet in the air like I had done so many times before. That same familiar feeling of pure bliss knowing that I was about to touchdown in a place that I had never been before takes completely over my consciousness. I was HIGH, without drugs! Well, I was certainly stoned on pot and maybe had a cocktail to even the playing field of travel anxiety, but there was something else getting me stoned. It's a completely different high compared to any other adrenaline releasing activity, exercise, drugs, or alcohol. Then I realized, I'm an addict and I can't get enough. ARE ALL ADDICTIONS A BAD THING? I want to hear your thoughts! Where is the most exciting place that you've been? DO you 'live to travel' or 'travel to live'?
