English Landing Park

English Landing Park is a recreation park available for all to enjoy. Its amenities include a large playground for children, disc golf course, volley ball court, picnic shelters and soccer field.

What we especially love about this park are:

It has a 3 mile long jogging/cycling trail that runs almost parallel to the Missouri River. How awesome to walk, run or cycle along the trail flanked by the river and tall magnificient cotton trees. There are always enthusiastic runners, walkers with their dogs, mums with babies in strollers on this lightly trafficked trail.

The playground is well equipped and well maintained. There are 3 picnic shelters near to the playground making it easy for families to enjoy the outdoors. What is better than cooking on the grill while the children play on the play sets.

Amazing train tracks run parallel to the park. When we hear that familiar air horn in the distance, we always make our way towards the tracks and wave as the train pass by. The kiddo loves his choo-choo trains and always insist that we watch until the train disappear into the distance. It's often a long watch as the cargo train is really long.

The park is close to the farmers' market, some small shops and Park University.
