              Nowadays, we can find the best architectural pieces, mostly in the oldest churches, because they usually become monuments and museums full of a lot of artistic details that will surely leave us speechless. 

That is why when we travel to any place in the world, we cannot stop visiting churches, despite the religion we have, because the amount of art that we can find within them is worthy of praise. In this case, we will be talking about a beautiful church that we can find in Italy, specifically in Ravenna, we are talking about the church of San Vitale.

                  The really curious thing about the church is that, seen from the outside, it does not really look like a church, and the only thing that would make us think that it is probably a simple little cross on the top of it. Despite this, it is still recognized as one of the best expressions of Byzantine art. So much so, that in 1996 it was declared a World Heritage Site by U.N.E.S.C.O.

                 However, the idea is not only to see its curious internal structure, but to enter into it and witness that once again the saying "The truly beautiful is inside" is fulfilled.

                 When we enter the church of San Vitale, we will be surprised, because there is an incredible difference between what it seems to be on the outside and how it is inside. Since, within it, we will find paintings and mosaics in almost any corner that we turn to see, even at the top of its dome we will find paintings and decorations representative of the Catholic Christian feeling. 

 It is a clear example of Italian art in the same structure that is surrounded by history, culture and much faith.

In Italy we can find a large number of churches that gather everything within the same space, since in the churches of Italy we find the perfect example of art, since we will find architecture, sculptures, and works of art that in some way, as a whole, they will return us the Catholic feeling, we will feel a kind of faith inside of us.  

                  Undoubtedly, the church of San Vitale in Ravenna has all these artistic qualities, so we cannot stop visiting it as soon as we have the opportunity to go to Italy, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed for any reason.
