Nice is literally and metaphorically a city for all seasons. A place that comes to you slowly and inboscis with its charm. You put yourself under the skin until one day you realize that you have fallen head on healthy in love with its energy, its passion for easy life and its contradictions.

Thanks especially to the Unflourishing airlines, Bello is going through something of a revival with thousands of Brits a week pouring into the city looking for sunshine, entertainment, real estate opportunities and, in some cases, even a new life. The local council responded with a massive cleaning operation and new transportation links around the city, including a new tram system that will make the city Tour much easier.

Explore Nice Old Town

A good introduction to the "Belle del Sud" is the old town of Nice. You can easily spend a day walking along its narrow streets and alleys surrounded by art galleries, bars, nightclubs, shops and an incredible number of restaurants.

Nice Old Town

Still in the Old Town and just behind the promenade is the famous Cours Saleya, a pedestrian walkway with a market of flowers deeply fragrant at one end and a market of 100 food stalls on the other. Farmers in the surrounding hills stack their plots with lush fruits and vegetables, meats, spices and bread from sunrise to lunch from Tuesday to Sunday.

If you are lucky enough to be in Saleya on a Monday the market becomes one of the largest old markets along the coast.

Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais

After a day of sightseeing, a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais is a must. With the deep blue of the Baie des Anges on one side and the sublime Belle Epoque and previous architecture on the other. The lively and lively promenade is more than seven kilometres long with the landmark Hotel Negresco in the center.

Stop along the road at the recently renovated Hotel de la Méditerranée, and have a coffee or a cocktail in the luxurious first floor bar overlooking the beach and the pleasant places to walk deserve your title as the cultural city of the south.

Visit a museum or an art gallery

If you are enriched by the civilising properties of art, music and culture, then Nice is the place for you. With its spectacular Matisse museum tucked away in an immense olive grove above the city, in the famous Museum of Modern Art, and Marc Chagall's largest collection of work in the world there is something for everyone.

Listen to Music

The music scene is just as healthy, from the grandeur of the beautiful opera with its ballet, opera and classical music concerts to the less healthy and countless live music scenarios in the Old town.

If you like the Jazz try the Bar des Oiseaux at 5 Rue Saint Vincent and if the old Rock and roll is more your thing, finally count there where 12 live places in the old town attended by the music of the years ' 60 to the ' 90. And it goes without saying that with a city full of international universities the Club scene is ample and tiring. Try the House of the Sun at 69, Quai des Etats Unis. It is dark, stylish and fashionable and its DJ spin House and disco melodies until dawn.

Walk up to the Colline du Château

After all that if you feel like a peaceful truce surrounded by Earth park, waterfalls, Roman ruins and the best view in Nice, try a walk up to the hills of Château. At the end of the Promenade des Anglais there is a promontory overlooking the colorful chaos. There is a lift to the top at the end of the Rue des ponchettes, but you should really try the steps. On a clear day you can see the Maures mountains behind St. Tropez to the south and the Alps to the north.

After many years at the Stasi Nice it is quickly becoming the destination city of the Riviera. It is big enough not to have a season so you can enjoy your lively, daring and relaxed approach to life all year round.

You could spend years knowing the true beauty, but even a short stay can fill with overwhelming enthusiasm and the desire to return again and again to a city that has a real talent for reinvention.
