The impact of heat on the demographic situation in the Netherlands and other events in July

After three weeks of unprecedented heat, I began to doubt that I wanted to settle in a hot summer country in a hot southern country. Maybe it's better in Canada?

Even though it doesn't say that I spent a lot of time this summer in the Netherlands, and this is good, because for extreme weather conditions like this country it doesn't match at all! Too me, Venice from the North! Because this channel is stuffy here, like in the tropics during the rainy season! At home - also gas barrels, air conditioning in the apartment is not provided, but why? We seem to live in the north. We cannot install it ourselves, so as not to damage the appearance of the building, which in principle I agree to.

By the way, I see curiosity, there are air-conditioned homes in the housing market in Rotterdam, apparently, only two! No, I understand - old funds, but new housing and elite designs without air conditioning?

At first we waited patiently until the heat subsided, and old Dysson succeeded. And then the house is so hot that you can die, and we go to the store for air conditioning. This is a dubious design with a flexible paper tube, which must be removed outside the window. Ideally, of course - in the hole done in the window, but who will give it to do?

In the shop to meet us from the home appliance department came six with fans under their arms - a bad sign. And of course, we don't have the devices we need. And that's impossible, because summer, they say, will end soon. We see, is it possible to order it online - for all countries zero offers!

People feel like garbage, and even at a construction site not far from us, the second day is quiet - they fire workers to avoid heat attacks. Disgusting situation, but apparently, it has its advantages! People are dying, and that's great, a year for the country's economy in a demographic plan will work.

February was cold and wet, the flu raged, the epidemic continued in March. People died in these two months as much as two thousand more than last year! Basically, this is parents and patients, that is, weights on our neck are healthy.

But not only does the flu cut off people, the picture of recent years has shown that extreme heat for health can be just as damaging as cold. For example, in 2003, 1,000 people died more than usual, in 2010 - five hundred, in 2015 - three hundred. That year we prepared, even for imagination.

The Dutch were practical people and immediately concluded that the heat was for good! For this phenomenal thought came the Amsterdam University demographic teacher Jan Latten (Jan Latten), he immediately made a statement through the press. He said that at high temperatures and flu epidemics, parents die more often. This is known before his statement, but demographics go further and ensure that this fact will not increase retirement age in the future.

Climate change affects the life expectancy of Dutch people, reduces it, and that does not mean that people will die quickly, more often. What's wrong, but overall - well, the fewer people will live to retirement, the better it will be left.
