The Songkran Festival begins.... Bangkok 2018

Hello Steemit friends …..

….. just a brief post to mark the beginning of Thailand's craziest festival, and to wish you all a HAPPY SONGKRAN.

…. over the next 4 days, Thais will take part in the world’s largest water fight, and Mrs. PoorCirculation and I shall be amongst the best and worst of the action on our scooter.

…. a fuller post with photographs and video will follow, but now it’s time to don our flowery shirts, slip phones into waterproof pouches and prepare to do battle with the kids of Northern Bangkok.

…. wish us luck, for we will probably need it.
