Travelling around the World – Singapore, the modern city (Episode 8)
Dear Stemian friends / Queridos amigos Stemians
The Republic of Singapore is the most modern country in Southeast Asia. The city is multicultural (the signs are usually in 4 languages), clean and with a very interesting recent history. There are stops in this city that you cannot miss, such as hallucinating with the skyline at the Marina Bay Sands hotel and if your pocket allows it, sleep one night in this hotel should be amazing.
La república de Singapur es el país más moderno del Sudeste Asiático. La ciudad es multicultural (las señales suelen estar en 4 idiomas), limpia y con una historia reciente muy interesante. Hay paradas en esta ciudad que no puedes dejar pasar, como por ejemplo alucinar con el skyline en el hotel Marina Bay Sands y si tu bolsillo te lo permite, dormir una noche en este hotel debe ser increíble.
It has an infinity pool that is sure to be among the most beautiful in the world, the views from this pool are spectacular and unforgettable!
Tiene una piscina infinity que seguro que está entre las más bellas del mundo, ¡las vistas desde esta piscina son espectaculares e inolvidables!
I went up to see the views from the terrace and have a drink, the city looks beautiful from above and at night it has a special charm with so many lights.
Yo subí para ver las vistas desde la terraza y tomar una copa, se ve preciosa la ciudad desde arriba y de noche tiene un encanto especial con tantas luces.
Very close to the Marina Sands, you have an artificial park that is very good to walk by it. These gardens reproduce a lot of the ecosystems found in the world, it is an artificial park worth seeing.
Muy cerca del Marina Sands, disponéis de un parque artificial que está muy bien, Gardens by the Bay. Estos jardines reproducen una gran cantidad de los ecosistemas que se encuentran en el mundo, se trata de un parque artificial digno de ver.
I would also recommend visiting the Chinatown "Chinatown" and Little India, where you can savor the food of these two countries.
También os recomendaría visitar el barrio Chino “Chinatown” y Little India, donde podréis saborear la comida de estos dos países.
To eat I loved the food stalls that are in several areas of the city, in fact two of these stalls have a michelin star.
Para comer me encantaron los puestecitos de comida que hay en varias zonas de la ciudad, de hecho a dos de estos puestos les dieron una estrella michelín.
The food is fascinating, the people are very friendly and the city is charming, it looks like the Asian New York.
La comida es fascinante, la gente muy amable y la ciudad encantadora, parece el Nueva York asiático.
