Moving Camp Tomorrow!
We've been enjoying some beautiful views and weather here near Leadville CO but our time is up here and it's time to move on to the next site. BLM and NFS land seems to hold a 14 day limit everywhere we've been in Colorado which seems to work out pretty well for us. After 2 weeks we are ready to move on to the next site.
Temps are getting down to freezing this week which wouldn't bother me normally but from Oklahoma where I'm from it's still hitting upper 90s! We usually don't hit freezing temps until late October maybe! The nice thing about being near the mountains is a that you only have to drive about 1 hour to get a big change in temps.
Our next Target is Salida for tomorrow, about 1.5 hour drive with the camper. We did some organizing in the camper and beds of the truck yesterday so we are pretty much ready to go. Just need some coffee in the morning and camper packing then on to the next site!
Check out Wood's Distillery in Salida. Super Tasty! I bring bottles home with me when I visit my buddy in CO Springs.

Wood's is a whiskey and gin distillery (Super tasty whiskey). But there is Soulcraft brewery in Salida that has a few IPAs on tap. We get their beers on tap at Monarch when skiing.
Salida is great.. internet is difficult to get tho.. especially since the fires last year
If we don't find internet we might keep pushing towards Cañon city or walsenburg. I've got mail to pickup in Trinidad and @scarletreaper wants to spend her birthday there.
