Do young people travel for profit or to spend money?

First of all young people travel for different purposes: to visit countries, to study, to increase their knowledge or simply because they go on a school exchange.

With regard to travel, they have several advantages: firstly, young people can learn a foreign language. They may have advantages when they want to be hired or they enrich

their vocabulary and language skills.

Secondly, travel opens new horizons, develops their confidence and leads them to show more tolerance and trust towards different cultures and peoples.

Moreover, as a result of the trips the young people acquire more history and general culture because they visit several historical places.

"In my opinion, the trip trains young people because, when they go on a trip, they gain confidence in themselves and they can learn several things: knowledge of geography, history or general culture," says a psychologist.

But young people can link friendships when they travel to another country. For example, when I went to a school exchange, I had been housed in a very kind family. Me with my correspondent we had beautiful moments. We kept a very close friendship.
