Story Hud prophet and the tribe 'add

The prophet Hud lived about 2320-2450 BC. He is the son of Abdullah bin Ribah bin Syam bin Nuh. He is one of the descendants of the tribe 'Aad. The geographical location of the tribe 'Aad is in the Hadramaut uatra between Yemen and Oman.

Allah SWT says: "And remember (Hud) the brother of 'Aad, that is when he warns his people in Al Ahqaaf" (Surat al-Ahqaaf verse 21).

The tribe 'Aad is the oldest tribe after Noah. Tribe 'Aad does not know Allah SWT Creator of the universe. they made statues named Shamud and Alhattar and were worshiped as their Lord. According to the belief the statue can provide happiness, goodness and profit and can resist evil, loss and all calamities.

after Allah sent down the flood to the infidels of Noah's time, the believers were saved from the danger of death.

After the tremendous flood, the Noah's believers gave birth to their children and grandchildren as their descendants. after birth, their children and grandchildren then live scattered throughout remote areas.

They are far apart and formed into tribes, peoples, and nations. Each group, tribe, and nation develop according to their customs or traditions.

quoted from the book of Noah's Ark and Other Stories, by Saridah Hamid, the Prophet Hud once said to his people, "O my people! Worship Allah! There is no god to you but you are the only ones who invent things- a false thing (against God) ".

but the 'Aads are still reluctant to accept the teachings of the Prophet Hud. He did not despair to take his people back on the right path. He called back to his people to repent.

"O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lordthen return to obedience to him, to deliver you heavy rain and add you strength in addition to your available strength. And do not turn away my cries by continuing to sin! ".

The Aad also replied "O Hudyou did not bring us any information that proves your truth and we will not abandon the worship of our gods because of your words! We never believe in you ".

At one time, black clouds were seen circling the Aads. arrogantly, the Aads stared at the sky and said to the Prophet Hud, "Look at the clouds that indicate the rain is falling shortly, the rain will certainly water the soil and our crops, our animals can certainly drink."

the prophet Hud who heard the saying replied by saying, "It is not a cloud of grace but a cloud that brings a storm that destroys and overwhelms you. The wind is full of painful torment."

after the Prophet Hud uttered these words, suddenly came the wind that blew with fierce. Aad's livestock animals were flown. The rushing wind grabbed everything that existed, including the crumbling and flat mountains.

Aad people who saw the incident immediately scared and ran for shelter by hiding in the house. For seven nights and eight days, the wind did not stop. Aad's bodies are scattered, like fallen trees. only Prophet Hud and his devout followers survived the punishment revealed by Allah SWT.
