Lazing around the Hotel at Mauritius.

After a long day out on the Catamaran the previous day, we decided to laze around the hotel for the day. (I have written the post on the day out with the Catamaran, but am not succeeding to post the video on d-tube, if I do not succeed, I will do it when we return home). We had some nice drinks on the beach, my wife had a cocktail, and I had some local Island Rum. I love it to try out the local stuff when I am on vacation.

We lied under a palm tree right at the waters edge!! The urban legend states that more people die yearly from coconuts falling on their heads than from shark attacks!! We were living on the edge!!

The beach is really nice, with the sea water very clean and pale blue in color.

In the afternoon we moved to the swimming pool, which is also very beautiful.

When the sun started to set, it was time for sun-downers on the deck overlooking the sea!!

After dinner we socialized outside with a few South-Africans we met at the Hotel. We all told our stories of the day's activities and gave advice to each other of what was good to do on the Island.

When we arrived back at our room, we found this puppy the hotel staff has folded for us out of towels as well as some beautiful flowers scattered on the bed!! This was a perfect end to a perfect day.
