The Roman Forum from Palatine Hill

Right outside the Colosseum you stumble across the Arc of Constantine which leads to the ancient centre of Rome. The Forum is without a doubt my site in the city, I am fascinated by its incredible history and preserved structures. The Forum was the epicentre for the Roman people and includes ruins of basilicas, temples, government buildings and public squares which date back to 7 BC. Right next to the Roman Forum is Palatine Hill, which offers an amazing viewpoint overlooking the city. You can really wander the garden walkways and truly get a picture of how the emperors lived in historic times. The Roman Forum impresses just as much as it would have centuries ago and it's the number one location I would recommend visiting.

I don't know why but after seeing this, I feel like turning on my PS3 and play Assassin's Creed again.
