SeanyTravels (Finland) #16 My Awesome Reindeer Sleigh Experience~
Now for some Real Action I promised in my earlier post! I hope you enjoy reading this!

We booked for a Reindeer Sleigh experience in Rovaniemi with Safartica, and we first met up in their shop in Town to wait for other participants. The weather was still snowy and cold, so it felt comfortable to wait in their warm shop, where we were provided warm Berry Juice.
We waited for our guide and a van, and made our way out of the city and up north into our destination.
The guide brought us to a place that looked like a campsite, and upon getting off the van, we could hear howls by the huskies that stay there, and caught a few glimpses of Reindeers. It's our first time seeing Reindeers, so we got really excited!
We went up to a cottage where Safartica stored all of their attire and gear, and we were provided some heavy duty warm clothes for this activity, along with boots and gloves. They were all mega sized, so I naturally looked really fluffy.
All suited up!! And eagerly waiting to meet our Reindeers!

Our guide led us to the sleighs where we broke the ice with our reindeer pals.
She taught us how to safely board the sleigh, and instructed us how to finish the activity in one piece.
And off we go~
It became colder as we ventured deeper, with stronger winds, so I found some difficulty taking photos without my Selfie Stick. Check out this video of our ride!
We rode for about 20-30 minutes and got off somewhere deep, where the Reindeer could take a rest, eat some bark and we could take some nice photos and videos.

it was kinda half snowing and raining and our lenses kept getting blurred. So the one photo where the reindeer cooperated, the lenses didn't
So we'll just take a photo of ourselves then!
My wish before arriving in Finland was to see snow and to make a Snow Angel. Watch me do it! :D
After the break, we made our way back with our Reindeers on the sleigh.
The guide then led the humans over to a warm hut with a fireplace in the middle! It was so cold that day even after wearing so many layers. My nose was red and my fingers were frozen. The fireplace really helped.
To mark an end to such a fun day, the guide talked to us more about the reindeers, her job and we chatted around the fireplace. We were also served some warm berry juice and a cinammon roll.
