The Tarot Keeps Telling me there is, "a need for a sustained effort".
I could of been really sore about it yesterday, when I found myself having been on the streets of Aspen, CO for hours with my art and tarot with hardly a look. The problem with this town is that I am anti-Hollywood, it shows in my appearance and my art.
The expectation was that by going into this expensive, gaping vagina of the woods, paying $10 for parking, and then taking to the streets with my wares was going to dig one of these rich, Hollywood art collectors from the soil to be my salvation by paying me an appropriate price for my art. That expectation was not met.
I won't comment on the artistic tastes of this town. You be the judge. You have to go there yourself. You really have to see it to believe it. It became evident that the rich also have something of a "zombie" status. They are just like the poor zombies, except they can buy $50,000 rocks.
Instead of being disappointed, I withdrew to smoke a pot about it. Went back up to the plaza area and began to offer free Tarot readings in front of a Coffee Shop.
In two hours time, I made the $10 I needed for the Parking Garage and made back the $10 it cost in gas to get to the town, which I hadn't seen since I was 8 years old. My 8 yr old self must of been a dimwit to have fallen in love with this place?
Plus $4 profit. I guess this trip wasn't a bust?
How much weed can I get for $4??
By the way, I have been doing Tarot as I travel and you know what? It "calls it" every time. All I had to do was sustain my effort in order to receive the rewards.

Aspen is fun for only so long.
It only really got fun once I came back during the later evening hours. It seemed like there were a lot more tourists out who were willing to go down the "rabbit hole" for a moment. Perhaps it was the overpriced alcohol that opened their hearts? :p
lol I miss traveling right now
It was a lot of fun until I took that 20 mile stretch of I-70 between Silverthorne and Idaho Springs, which was jammed worse than a cucumber in a dog's vagina. Once I was off the Interstate, the love of travel suddenly returned.
You will get there again someday. I lost my means once then got it back. It is all a part of having to ride this wave we call life. :)
