Trip to Nagasaki, Japan #2 ~all about Nagasaki ~ 長崎旅行２

This is the second blog about my Nagasaki trip.
Today let me tell you about Nagasaki, and show some pictures.

I had a day trip to Nagasaki,Japan in May 3rd.

Nagasaki is located in western Japan and Kyushu area.
It's surrounded with the sea and has thousands of little island.

Nagasaki is very historical place.
About 400 years ago, Nagasaki is the one of the big and important port in Japan.
Almost ports in Japan were closed by Japanese government to prevent other countries trading.
That is called SAKOKU 鎖国 (Not to trade with other countries in that period ).
But Nagasaki was opening to Netherland and China.
Both of them were only countries can trade with Japan at that period.
Therefore Nagasaki was influenced by the cultures from both 2 countries.

And, about 70 years ago, the atomic bomb was dropped off into Nagasaki city next to Hiroshima.
It's the important history that we should not forget.

Today, Nagasaki are growing into a port town and a tourist city.
