This is very good advice. I have many friends who do this in many parts of the world and I am always worried about them being safe. I will share this with them and also get them to join Steemit. I have never done it. Not sure if I have the courage. Have you ever couchsurfed? If so what was it like? Thank you so much.

    thanks for your comment. I did Couchsurf, otherwise I wouldn't feel comfortable to recommend it ;) i really enjoyed it, i have written a post about that if you fancy to read it:)
