Autumn landscapes of the Republic of Karelia.
Recently, while in Karelia, I observed the magnificence and the fabulous beauty of autumn landscapes. And despite the sad mood associated with the summer period, I was pleased and interested to roam on the ground covered with fallen bright yellow and fiery leaves.
Here are a few of my test shots made on the lakeside near the village of Hiitola.
Once on these lands were the ancient Karelian settlements - farms. Today these lands are empty. I had a crazy idea to settle here, build a house and meet my old age ... And what thoughts do you have when you are in such places?
