'Locked'
Leaving a lock on this fence and throwing the key in the water is how some couples show appreciation for each other. They bind their relationship forever. It is an old custom and it can be found in many places throughout Europe. It looks nice but when you think about it, it is quite a weird custom, isn't it? On some places locks become so heavy in time that services need to remove them by force so that fences wouldn't collapse. Could this be understood metaphorically? :D

Hahahaha. Like the same relationships: sometimes the daily weight can cause them to break! My romantic side believes in these signs of eternal love, but I am aware that love goes beyond an object or a paper. People should keep the key, in case the relationship doesn't work I can go and remove the lock; D Have a nice day, @velimir!

The closed lock is a sign of perpetual and unbreakable love. It is a very romantic symbolism, for those who believe in love forever it is not necessary to put locks or throw away the key. What is needed and the main thing is true love, respect, communication, understanding, consideration and appreciation of the couple, those if true locks of a love that lasts until eternity. They are the keys that my husband and I handle that we will celebrate 26 years of marriage very soon. A hug, @velimir and long live love!
