In circa 1606 Spanish navigator Pedro Fernandes de Queirós discovered this group of islands in Pacific Ocean and named them "Australia de Espiritus Santu". Later James Cook renamed them as New Hebrides.
Untill 1980 this 83 pieces of land was a dual ownership of UK and France. Now it is called Republic of Vanuatu.
Total population about 200.000.

Locals like to drink Cava at Cava bars - the drink made from roots of Piper methysticum. The taste is awful but the effects are pretty interesting and relaxing and gives a long sleep and colourful dreams with no hangover. Costs about 0,6-0,7 Australian dollars per cup (half of coconut shell)
