Day 5 in America: See the beautiful Montreal
Hi guys
Wonderful to have you back.
We are in Canada already.
Currently we stay in Montreal and my fellow travellers wanted to stand up early.
First target after breakfast is Mont Royal, a nice hill that gave the city its name.
Quite hard to get up there.
But what a view.
Back down I found a new friend at a park bench.
First I didn't know why he seems to be a bit sad. Look at his screen!
Bit later I found the building that I saw yesterday in the rain.
It’s called Notre Dame. And its something like the symbol of the French population through the time.
That’s why the puddle likes it.
And the church is not only beautiful outside, but also from the inside.
Really impressed me a lot.
On the other side of the square we found this guy.
He is looking at the bank and is symbolising the British population.
Seems like they are a bit capitalistic.
The sweet part is that the dogs look at each other. Unlike the people they don’t have troubles.
After escaping heavy rain and having lunch in a food court at the harbour, we found this nice coffee bar. Very stylish and lovely.
Exploring the city a bit more, we found soldiers that seemed to be there a bit longer time.
Another thing that I learned about Montreal was that there is a huge underground city with lots and lots of shops.
Quite hard to get your girlfriend back up!
The only thing that works in such a case is to find a Jazz Festival with some beer for everybody.
